Public Holiday on 6 May 2013
[UPDATED 3 MAY 2013] Selangor Metri Besar, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim declared this Monday, May 6 2013, as a public holiday for Selangor.
[UPDATED 4 MAY 2013] Penang Chief Minister, Mr. Lim Guan Eng declared this Monday, May 6 2013, as a public holiday for Pulau Pinang.
[UPDATED ON 2 MAY 2013] Pakatan’s leader Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in an apparent bid to encourage more voters to return home to vote, announced in a Press Statement that 6 May 2013 will be declared as public holiday for whole Malaysia if Pakatan is given the mandate to take over the Federal Government on the 5 May 2013 election.
In the other development, 5 May 2013 has been announced a public holiday in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu.
In short, except Selangor and Penang, public holiday on 6 May 2013 cannot be confirmed until the outcome of 13th General Election is known.
